Baldwin Financial, LLC

Who we help Attorneys

Who we help

Financial planning for attorneys whose income arrives on the firm’s schedule.

Making partner changed your taxes, your paycheck and your cash flow in the same month. Draws, distributions, capital calls, and a bonus that may or may not land in December. If you run your own practice, add a business to manage. We help you plan around income that does not come evenly, keep the tax year from surprising you, and turn a high income into real wealth.

Does Baldwin Financial work with attorneys in Oklahoma City?

Yes. What we see

Moments we recognize.

The first K-1 year, with quarterly estimates nobody set up.

A capital contribution financed at the worst possible time.

Cash sitting idle between draws because nobody knew how much was safe to invest.

A solo practice with no retirement plan because the owner never had time to set one up.

Life insurance owned by the firm that does not match the family’s needs.

Questions we get

Asked often enough to answer here.

My income varies a lot year to year. Can you plan around that?

That is most of the work. We size reserves to the variability, set a saving rule that flexes with income, and plan the tax year in June rather than in April.

I am a solo practitioner. Is this for me?

Yes. A solo firm is a business, and the business-owner planning applies: entity, compensation, retirement plan and exit.

Do you work with my firm’s CPA?

With your authorization, yes.

An invitation

Tell us where you are.
We will tell you what we would look at first.

A complimentary conversation, by video, phone, or in person in downtown Oklahoma City, whenever suits you. Nothing to prepare and nothing to bring. Come as you are; leave knowing more than you arrived with.

What the conversation looks like

  1. 01

You talk. What you own, what you owe, who depends on you, and whatever is coming up that you have not solved yet.

  2. 02

We tell you what we see. The two or three things we would look at first, and why those and not the rest.

  3. 03

You decide, on your own time. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you toward someone who is.
