Start a conversation.
The first conversation is complimentary and unhurried. Come with a question, or just with what is on your mind. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to bring.

Before you reach out
What people usually ask first.
What happens in the introduction?
A complimentary conversation, by video, phone, or in person at our downtown Oklahoma City office, at a time that suits you. You tell us what’s on your mind and what you’re trying to sort out, and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit, including when we’re not. Nothing to prepare and no documents to dig up. The conversation doesn’t create an advisory relationship on its own.
Where would our money actually be held?
Your accounts sit with an unaffiliated qualified custodian, in your name. Our primary custodian is Altruist Financial, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. Baldwin Financial never takes custody of your money. You get your own login and your own statements, and you can see every position and every fee without asking us for anything.
Are you a fee-only advisor?
Yes. Baldwin Financial is paid one way: an advisory fee from clients, never a commission. Insurance products, when a client chooses them, are offered through a separate entity, The Baldwin Insurance Firm, LLC, disclosed in Item 10 of our Form ADV Part 2A and on our disclosures page.
Is there an account minimum?
No. We do not impose a minimum account size. Accounts below $50,000 may be subject to a minimum annual fee, and we would tell you what that is before you decided anything. This matches Item 7 of our Form ADV Part 2A.
What does this cost?
Baldwin Financial is fee-only, charging a single kind of fee: an asset-based advisory fee on a tiered schedule, billed monthly in arrears on your average daily balance. Most relationships begin near 1% of assets, and the rate tiers down as assets grow and as complexity allows. There are no performance-based fees, no commissions on advisory accounts, and no minimum account size. You are quoted your own rate in writing before anything is signed, and the complete schedule is published in Item 5 of our Form ADV Part 2A, which is public.
We already have a CPA and an attorney. Does that change anything?
It helps, and it is the best possible starting point. You already have a village; what is usually missing is anyone making sure it talks. We do not prepare returns, we do not draft documents, and we do not manage the people who do. We lead where the work is ours, follow where it is theirs, and make sure one plan reaches all of it.
Do you work with clients in Edmond and Nichols Hills?
Yes. The office is at 629 W. Main Street in downtown Oklahoma City, and most of the families Baldwin Financial serves live across the metro: Oklahoma City, Edmond and Nichols Hills. We meet in person downtown or by video, whichever suits you, and nothing about the relationship depends on which side of Memorial Road you live on.
Can you work with us if we are not in Oklahoma?
Often, yes. Most of our clients are in Oklahoma City, Edmond and Nichols Hills, but good technology means we work just as closely with families well outside the state. The firm is registered in Oklahoma and can serve clients elsewhere where it is registered or exempt, so tell us where you live on the first call and we will confirm before going further.
Still have one we have not answered? Ask it. That is what the conversation is for.
An invitation
One conversation is usually enough
to know whether this is worth continuing.
A complimentary conversation, by video, phone, or in person in downtown Oklahoma City, whenever suits you. Nothing to prepare and nothing to bring. Come as you are; leave knowing more than you arrived with.
What the conversation looks like
- 01
You talk. What you own, what you owe, who depends on you, and whatever is coming up that you have not solved yet.
- 02
We tell you what we see. The two or three things we would look at first, and why those and not the rest.
- 03
You decide, on your own time. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you toward someone who is.
